FIRST GRADE NEWS BY KAYLA
In Mrs. O’Donnell’s class they are growing plants. They bought some carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes and more to see if they can grow some plants off of the store-bought ones.
In all the first grade classes they are having a Valentine’s Day party. They are celebrating the 100th day on Feburary 21, and they are practicing math and reading. They are also going to the CHILDRENS HANDS ON THEATRE at the end of the month.
In mrs. Kuni’s class they are celebrating Chinese New Year today, the 7th of Feburary.
Mrs. Parker’s class is studying weather and air in science. They love to do rocket math. In reading, they are bieng timed for reading fluency. Swimming starts in March for Mrs. Parker’s class.
